Tea for two please!
In this 5-hour intermediate workshop taught by Nga Nguyen-Weaver, students will explore the many styles of teapot making, discuss functionality, and explore the option of attached clay-handled teapots or bamboo-handled teapots. Beginning Clay Wheel Throwing is a prerequisite for this class. Classes are limited to 8 participants, and all participants must be 16 years of age or older.

This is a one-day, 5-hour long workshop. There must be 6 students registered to confirm. You’ll pick up your finished work 3-4 weeks after the class.

Nga Nguyen-Weaver has been working in clay since 1995 with an emphasis on functional ware. The forms and designs of her pieces are derived from observations in nature as well as careful considerations to the utility for which they are made. Although ever evolving, her aesthetic tendency bends towards simplicity.
