Hand built Cheese Boards

Because who doesn’t love a good cheese or charcuterie board, amirite?!

In this 2-hour beginner handbuilding workshop, we will walk you through all the steps needed to make your very own tray for all your snacking needs. You’ll use handbuilding techniques like slab-building, coiling, and pinching to make a sweet platter for all your favorite cheese/fruit/bread combos. You can paint on underglaze or add texture for a final touch of color and personality.

Children 10 and older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Parents with children should register for 2 spots. Class is limited to 8 participants. All levels are welcome.

Meet the Instructor

Rhythm Sutherland has worked with clay for over 10 years. Besides ceramics, she enjoys woodworking and making jewelry, and outside the studio you can catch Rhythm riding their bike around Richmond, at a local music venue for a show, or at home cooking!
