Summer blooms in your very own one of a kind clay vase?! Yes, please!

In this 2-day beginner pottery workshop, we’ll explore handbuilding techniques that will help you make the perfect vase for your favorite flowers. The first class will be all things clay. We’ll learn about various types of vases and how they look with flowers so you can chose the right shape to match your favorite blooms. We’ll explore handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling and slab building and you’ll decorate with colorful underglaze.

The second class is scheduled a week later, and will focus on all things flowers. We’ll play around with buds and stems and design an arrangement to fit perfectly in the vase you made one week prior. Flower bouquets will be sourced from River City Flower Exchange.

Beginners welcome. This class is best suited for adults. Class is limited to 8 participants.

This is a two-day workshop. The first session is 2.5 hours and the second session is 1.5 hours.
