A-tisket, a-tasket, let's weave a clay basket!
In this 2-hour handbuilding workshop, you'll make strips of clay from slabs and coils, then weave and attach them using a hump mold for support. Finish your basket off with handles, a foot ring, or additional texture! Use your baskets as a colander, a stylish fruit bowl, or to hold anything else you want to display. No clay or basketry experience needed!
Beginners welcome. Children 10 and older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Parents with children should register for 2 spots. Class is limited to 8 participants. You’ll pick up your finished pieces 3-4 weeks after the class.
